What counts
A good-looking selling price can hide costs that quietly eat your margin. These are the ones to include.
Amazon charges a referral fee that depends on the product category and, in many categories, the selling price. Check the current Amazon.in seller fees page for your category and enter the percentage in the commission box.
Amazon also charges a fixed closing fee per order that depends on the price band and how the order is fulfilled. This calculator has no separate box for fixed per-order charges. Add packaging and outbound shipping to Product cost so they are counted in every result.
Fees for Easy Ship, Seller Flex or Fulfilment by Amazon depend on weight and size. Add your per-order shipping or handling cost to Product cost.
Amazon's fees carry GST, so the real cost of each fee is higher than the headline number. Enter the GST rate for your product and include GST on fees in the amounts you add.
Returned orders cost you return shipping and sometimes a unit you cannot resell. Enter your return rate and damaged-return share in the Advanced tab.
If you run Sponsored Products or other ads, enter the spend as a percentage of your selling price so your margin shows the true cost of each sale.

FAQ
Start with the selling price and subtract your product cost (including packaging and shipping), Amazon's referral fee, closing fee and fulfilment fees with GST, the cost of returns, and ad spend. The remainder is your profit per order. This calculator does the maths from the numbers you enter.
Typical fees include a referral fee that varies by category and price, a closing fee, shipping or weight-handling fees depending on how you fulfil orders, and GST on those fees. Amounts change, so check the current fees page on Amazon.in's seller site.
You can use it to estimate profit for FBA or self-fulfilled orders. Enter the referral fee as a percentage, and add per-order fulfilment, pick-and-pack and storage costs to Product cost.
It does not have a separate box. Add the per-order closing fee to Product cost and it will be included in profit, margin and break-even.
