What is a Meesho autofill extension?

A Meesho autofill extension is a browser add-on that types the repetitive parts of a catalog form for you. Most sellers list many products in the same few categories, so the attributes, size rows, prices and checkboxes are mostly the same from one product to the next. Autofill saves those answers once and reuses them.

Autofill tools differ in how they learn the answers. Some keep a profile of fields you type in; Rocket Listing records what you actually do on the form and saves it as a template. If you are comparing options, Meesho autofill extensions compared lists what to check before you install any of them.

What Rocket Listing fills on Meesho's single-catalog form

Rocket Listing fills what you filled while recording. The template saves the text you typed, so edit the product name and description for each new product before you publish.

What happens while it fills

A purple status pill on the page shows the step number, and the field being filled gets a ring. Rocket Listing sets each value the way Meesho's form expects, waits for fields that only appear after an earlier choice (such as size rows after you pick sizes), checks that each field really shows the value, retries a few times, and makes one last pass over anything that failed or was reset.

When it finishes you see Automation complete or Automation paused. Paused means at least one field needs you, and the report says which one. It does not hide failures: if a saved value is not among the options Meesho offers for a field, the report says exactly that.

What it does not do

• Upload photos or press Publish. File fields are never recorded or filled.
• Bulk catalog upload. Meesho's bulk page is not supported; Rocket Listing fills the single-catalog form only. See Meesho bulk upload vs single catalog.
• Other supplier panel pages such as orders, returns, inventory, ads and payments. The extension refuses to record or fill there.
• Fill a form from a different category than the template's.
• Work on Flipkart, Amazon or Myntra yet: they show as Stay tuned in the extension, and we do not promise anything there.
• Run on phones or other browsers. It needs desktop Chrome 114 or newer, and other browsers are untested.
• Promise that a catalog will pass Meesho's quality check. Check why Meesho catalogs get blocked before you resubmit.

When Meesho changes its seller panel

Meesho can change its seller panel at any time, and a saved template may then stop filling some fields. If that happens, record the template again and it works again. The report tells you which fields failed, so you do not have to guess.

What the extension can see and where templates are stored

• Meesho templates are saved in your browser, on your computer. They are not uploaded and they do not sync to other devices, so removing the extension or clearing its data deletes them.
• You sign in with Google to use the side panel. Rocket Listing never sees your Google password.
• On the Meesho supplier panel it listens to the form description Meesho's page already downloads and reads the form you are filling. It does not read your orders, returns or payments.
• Chrome shows the extension as able to access all sites, because its separate step recorder can work on other pages you choose. The Meesho-specific features run only on Meesho.

Seller Insights on meesho.com product pages

The same extension adds a Seller Insights card to product pages on meesho.com. It shows price, rating breakdown, listing age and sales estimates worked out from rating counts.
