How to upload catalog on Meesho: single catalog, step by step
Add Single Catalog step by step, the QC errors Meesho names, and a clear line between what you do by hand and what a template can refill.
By Rocket Listing TeamUpdated 13 min read

Key takeaways
- The single-catalog route is Catalog Upload, Add Single Catalog, category template, front image, product details, submit. Meesho's quality check (QC) runs before a catalog goes live.
- Size rows need the most care. Each size has its own price, MRP, stock and SKU, and Meesho names duplicate SKUs among its QC errors.
- We could not verify current image sizes, QC timings or per-catalog limits on 14 October 2026, so none is printed. Read them in your own panel.
- A saved template only refills repeated single-catalog fields. It never uploads photos or submits for you, and Excel bulk upload stays Meesho's own route.
How to upload catalog on Meesho: open Catalog Upload in your Supplier Panel, choose Add Single Catalog, pick the category template, add a sharp front image, fill the product details and submit. Meesho's quality check (QC) then reviews the catalog and lists any errors to fix. For many products, Meesho's Excel bulk upload is the other route.
These steps follow Meesho's own lessons and videos. Meesho's site blocked our automated reader on 14 October 2026, so the lessons come from saved copies dated 2024 and 2025, and the videos are from 2025. Meesho changes its panel, so where your screen differs, follow your screen. If you list in one category again and again, the last section shows how a Meesho autofill extension can refill the repeated fields.
What to have ready before you open the form
If you are asking how to do listing on Meesho for the first time, most of the work is preparation. Have these ready before you open the form.
- The exact category. The form is built around it, and Wrong Category is one of the QC errors Meesho names.
- Photos. The single flow asks for a sharp, clear front image first, so sort your photos before you start.
- Facts for every size. Your Meesho price, the MRP (maximum retail price), the stock you actually hold and a SKU, which is your own stock code for that size.
- Manufacturer, packer and importer details. Meesho made these mandatory at upload (details below). Take them from your own records.
- Brand details, if the product has a brand. Meesho's Learning Hub has a lesson on registering a brand; read it before you list a branded product.
- A Supplier Panel account. If you have not registered, start at supplier.meesho.com. Meesho's sign-up page shows what it asks for, so we do not list documents here.

How to upload catalog on Meesho: Add Single Catalog, step by step
This is Meesho single catalog upload as Meesho's lesson on single upload describes it, and it is how to list products on Meesho one at a time. Meesho also published a tutorial video on 18 November 2025, in English and in Hinglish.
- Open Catalog Upload. Sign in to the Supplier Panel at supplier.meesho.com and choose Catalog Upload.
- Choose Add Single Catalog. The other choice there, Add Bulk Catalog, is the Excel route.
- Pick the category template. Read the full category path before you select it. The form that opens belongs to that category.
- Add a sharp, clear front image. Meesho's lesson asks for it before the product details page.
- Fill the product details page. It asks for the name, the description, the attributes of your category, your sizes with their rows, extra images and the manufacturer, packer and importer details. The order varies by category.
- Check, then submit. Read every field once more with the Meesho listing checklist beside you, then submit. QC starts after you do.
- Follow the status. Errors appear on the QC Error page, and the Inventory tab shows where the catalog sits.
How to upload photos in Meesho
The front image comes first, before the product details page. Extra images go on the details page itself, according to Meesho's lesson. Meesho's image guidelines sit inside the panel, so read them on the upload screen. Name each file after its product so photos do not get mixed up, and see Meesho product photo tips for shooting basics.
Size, price, inventory and SKU rows
After you select sizes, the form gives each size its own row with fields such as Meesho Price, MRP, Inventory and SKU. The columns depend on the category, so read yours.
- Price. Work out what you keep per order before you type a price. Put your own cost, shipping, GST, return and RTO (return to origin) numbers into the Meesho profit calculator; it uses only what you enter.
- MRP. Enter the real MRP. A Meesho Price above the MRP is a mistake to fix before you submit.
- Inventory. Enter the stock you hold for each size. Meesho's inventory lesson covers updating stock later, including a Bulk Stock Update option.
- SKU. Give every size its own SKU and never reuse one from another product. Meesho names Duplicate SKU ID and Product ID, and SKU ID error, among its QC errors. A pattern of product code, colour and size, such as KRT-BLU-S and KRT-BLU-M, keeps SKUs unique and readable.
The details page: name, description and manufacturer, packer and importer
Write the name and description for this product alone: fabric, fit, colour and what the buyer receives. Write plain words, not keyword lists; Meesho product title and keywords shows how.
Meesho's official supplier channel published a video on 11 August 2025 saying that Manufacturer, Packer and Importer details are now mandatory when you upload a catalog. Treat them as part of the form. Collect them from your own records, enter the ones that match this product's real source, and follow the format the form asks for.
What happens after you submit: QC and the Inventory tab
Every catalog passes Meesho's quality check before it goes live, as read on 14 October 2026 in Meesho's lesson on QC errors. Errors are listed on the QC Error page, so fix the problem there and submit again. If a catalog is stuck, the single-upload lesson points you to Support to raise a ticket.
| Group | What the lesson says | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Split into All stock, Out of Stock and Low Stock | Check stock for each size here |
| Activation Pending | The catalog passed QC but is not live yet | Wait; if the status never changes, raise a ticket under Support |
| Blocked | Split into Duplicate, Poor Quality and Others | Use the group as a first clue, then read the message |
| Paused | Listed as its own group | Read the status shown against the catalog in your panel |
Meesho catalog upload time, and other numbers we do not print
There are two waits: your own time on the form, and QC. Many blogs quote fixed numbers for QC time, image size and catalog limits. We could not verify current values for these on 14 October 2026, so we print none and point to where your panel shows the real answer.
| You are looking for | Why it is not printed here | Where to check |
|---|---|---|
| Image size and resolution | We could not verify current rules | The image guidelines on Meesho's upload screen |
| Hours QC takes | We could not confirm a current figure | The Inventory tab status; Support if a catalog stays stuck |
| Products allowed in one catalog | Not confirmed on 14 October 2026 | The form or Excel template for your category |
| How many catalogs to start with | Meesho's own pages have given different advice over time | Meesho's Learning Hub |
| GST or ID needed to sell | Meesho sets and updates these | Meesho's sign-up page |
QC errors Meesho names, and where to look first
Meesho's QC lesson names six error types and says other reasons exist. The names below are Meesho's. The last column is our reading of them, so trust the message on your own QC Error page over this table.
| QC error Meesho names | What it points to | Look here first |
|---|---|---|
| Wrong Category | The product sits in a category it does not belong to | The category path from step 3. If it is wrong, list the product again under the right one |
| Duplicate SKU ID and Product ID | A SKU or product ID is repeated | The SKU on every size row. A SKU carried over from an old product, a copied row or a template is the first suspect |
| SKU ID error | Something is wrong with the SKU value itself | Empty or mistyped SKUs, including on a size you added late |
| Image Link error | An image link was not accepted; links are what the Excel route uses | Every link in your sheet. Open each in a browser and replace any that do not load |
| Product Description error | The description text did not pass | Whether the text matches this product: colour, fabric, pack contents, nothing copied from another listing |
| Image Upload error | An image did not upload or was not accepted | Upload the image again; if it fails, compare it with the image guidelines in your panel |
For causes beyond these six, and a checklist before you resubmit, read Meesho QC error and blocked catalog fixes.
How to edit catalog in Meesho after you upload it
Find the catalog in the Inventory tab and open its edit page. It is the same form, filled with what you submitted. Meesho's inventory lesson also lists Bulk Stock Update for changing stock and Add New Variation for adding a variation to a catalog. We could not confirm which fields can change after QC, or whether an edit sends a catalog back through QC, so let your panel show you what is editable.
When Excel bulk upload is the better route
Meesho's other route is Add Bulk Catalog: choose the category, download that category's Excel template, fill it and upload it. In Meesho's bulk upload lesson, red header cells are mandatory and green ones recommended, and image links come from its Images Bulk Upload. After QC you download an error file, correct your original sheet and upload it again.
- Many products in one category, and you are comfortable in Excel: use bulk.
- A few products, or products whose details differ a lot: use the single-catalog form.
- The same category again and again, one form at a time: stay on the form and refill it from a template.
The Excel route in full, with its errors, is in Meesho bulk upload vs single catalog. Nothing we make fills the Excel sheet.
Where Rocket Listing fits, and where it does not
Rocket Listing is an independent Chrome extension and is not affiliated with Meesho. On this flow it has one job: it fills the Add Single Catalog form, and the edit page of an existing listing, from a template you record once. Press Start Record Steps, fill one product by hand, then press Stop recording. For the next product in the same category, open the form and press play.
A template saves text, numbers, dropdown choices, your size selection, the per-size price, MRP, inventory and SKU rows, and ticked checkboxes. It reads the field list and dropdown options that Meesho's own page already downloads, so values land on Meesho's exact options. That is Meesho's data, not AI.
| Part of the form | A template fills | You check or change |
|---|---|---|
| Category attributes | The dropdown and text values you recorded | Anything that differs for this product |
| Product name and description | The text you typed while recording | Edit both for every product |
| Sizes, price, MRP and inventory | The rows for the sizes you recorded | Prices and stock for this product |
| SKU on each size | The SKUs you recorded | Change them; Meesho names duplicate SKUs as a QC error |
| Checkboxes | The ones you ticked | Each one, before you submit |
| Photos | Nothing; file fields are never filled | Upload every image yourself |
| The submit button | Never pressed | Review all fields, then submit yourself |
A template belongs to one Meesho category and will not fill a form from another. After a fill you see which fields failed and why, and you can retry them, skip them or finish by hand; check legal fields such as the manufacturer, packer and importer details yourself. A filled form can still fail QC, because Meesho's check is separate. On an edit page, Convert into template turns an existing listing into a template.
Templates stay in your browser on your computer and do not follow you to another one. The extension needs desktop Chrome 114 or newer and a Google sign-in, and there is a free plan. How Rocket Listing works has the setup steps.

Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
01How do I upload a catalog on Meesho?
Open Catalog Upload in your Supplier Panel and choose Add Single Catalog. Pick the category template, add a sharp front image, fill the product details and the size rows, then submit. Meesho's quality check reviews the catalog and lists any errors on the QC Error page, where you fix them and submit again.
02How do I list products on Meesho without a bulk file?
Use Add Single Catalog. It is a form for one product at a time, so no Excel file is needed: you choose the category, add a front image, fill the details and the per-size rows, and submit. Excel bulk upload is optional and suits many products in one category.
03How long does a catalog take to go live?
We could not confirm a current figure from Meesho on 14 October 2026, so we do not print one. Every catalog passes the quality check first, and one that passed but is not live yet shows as Activation Pending in the Inventory tab. Check the status there, and raise a ticket under Support if it stays stuck.
04How do I edit a catalog I already uploaded?
Find it in the Inventory tab and open its edit page, which is the same form with your saved answers. Meesho's inventory lesson also lists Bulk Stock Update and Add New Variation. We could not confirm which fields can change after QC, so your panel is the guide to what is editable.
05Why was my catalog blocked after upload?
In the Inventory tab, Blocked has three groups: Duplicate, Poor Quality and Others. Use the group as a first clue. Duplicate suggests the same product was uploaded twice, Poor Quality suggests photos or details, and Others needs the message read. Fix the cause shown, then submit again; do not resubmit unchanged.
06What photos does Meesho need?
The single-catalog flow asks for a sharp, clear front image first, and extra images on the product details page. Meesho keeps its exact image guidelines inside the panel, and we could not verify current size limits, so read them on the upload screen. Use real photos of the product you will ship.
07Can I upload many catalogs faster?
There are two routes. Meesho's Excel bulk upload suits many products in one category. For repeated single-catalog forms, a saved template can refill fields you would otherwise retype, but you still add the photos and submit. Neither route skips QC, and we have not timed either one.
